Welcome to Dominic Russell

We are pleased to introduce our newest team member Dom Russell. For all of you who have said to us over time, it can be hard to get appointments because you get busy; help is at hand. Dom has spent the last month with us in the practice observing and training. He has now started taking on a full case load.

Dom grew up locally and recently graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Whilst studying he volunteered as a physiotherapist at various sporting events including the City to Surf, GPS Basketball and State and local Netball. He has also worked as a volunteer Physiotherapist with disabled children in Vietnam and with local intellectually disabled members of our community helping them to integrate into the community.

Dom brings with him first-hand experience in a variety of sports including surfing, running (half marathons), rugby, touch football, swimming and tennis. This also means he has had experience of being a patient at Physiotherapy practices. Being an injured athlete gives great insight into what it feels like to be on the receiving end of treatment.
