Back and Neck Pain

Back and neck conditions are the most common issues we treat.
There are many reasons why people can develop back and neck pain. For this reason, it is important that we assess your problem and understand you before we devise a plan for you. In general backs are strong, flexible and resilient structures that allow us to bend, lift and twist under load. When we are in pain and cannot do these activities, our quality of life can be adversely affected.
We understand back and neck pain and will apply this understanding as we assess your pain and then devise an individualised treatment plan to help you. We apply the latest research and our experience of hands-on care to help keep you moving freely. We believe you don’t have to let back and neck pain limit your quality of life.
We often get asked should I have an X-ray or scan to see what is causing my pain. For most people, what we see on an X-ray or scan does not tell us why you have pain. It is normal to see changes on scans and we see these changes in people with and without pain. Research tells us 70% of people over 40 years of age have degenerative changes on scans and 50% of people over 40 have disc bulges on scans. If you have already had scans, we will look at them and discuss them with you.
Don’t let back and neck pain limit your lifestyle, we can help today.
